Connectivity Associates wins planning permission for new hotel at Birmingham Gateway

As planning consultant to Network Rail and a development team comprising WSP, Mace and The Space Studio, Connectivity Associates has secured planning permission for the conversion of Ladywood House, a vacant 1960’s office tower next to Birmingham’s New Street Station, into a 280-bed hotel with conference, bar and restaurant facilities. The proposals will bring this prominent building back into active use with a design that complements that of the adjacent Gateway scheme and will be a major asset to the city centre.
