National Planning Forum and the Planning Inspectorate – an evaluation of the use of mediation in planning, part of the government’s Big Society agenda to simplify the planning process

The Edward de Bono Foundation – an evaluation of a career choice system on behalf of the Manchester Metropolitan University Business School

The Peter Jones Enterprise Academy helping young people to achieve their business dreams. Set-up by Peter Jones, CBE, star of ‘Dragons’ Den’, the Academy was the first to offer further education courses in enterprise and entrepreneurship in the UK where students are actually required to set up and run their own business.

B&Q – an assessment of job creation at new stores

Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council – a leisure strategy with Stevens and Associates

Warrington Borough Council – community engagement, training local residents and developing a Participatory Appraisal Network to inform the Council’s strategic policy choices (with Mind the Gap Research and Training)

Teach First – management training for a charity founded to directly address educational disadvantage

Manchester City Football Club – Waterwheel Project for Schools Enterprise, part of City in the Community

Working with the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace to advise about developing their social enterprise, The Resolution Training Company, to deliver training in conflict management and emergency response planning for professionals.
