Networking Training and Planning

I had a fascinating time last week in London delivering training for International Masters Management students at University College London. They were excellent students from all over the world, keen to understand networking in the UK. About half had lived in the UK before, but for some it was their first week in Britain. It was the culmination of an intense induction week.

We visited the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce and also met up with Andres Coca-Stefaniak from the Association of Town Centre Management. Excellent chat about current issues in town centres, in particular the concerns of existing retailers when a new superstore is proposed, but also the need to bring investment to centres that may be lagging behind.
