Be kind to your ‘messengees’

People often send emails with irrelevant titles

  • The title maybe relevant to them, but not to you (not good practice)
  • It may be that the thread of the conversation has moved away from the original (it happens)
  • It my be very general eg Good Morning (not very useful)
  • There may be no title (bad practice and maybe caught as spam)

This does not help you to organise those messages that you want to save.

So, when you are composing emails, think of a subject line which will help the recipient to find it again easily.
