She also presented the inaugural Construction Apprentice of the Year Award to 19 year-old Amari Knott, an electrical apprentice with City South Manchester Housing Trust.  The event, attended by some 400 business people from across the city region, was a huge success and helped to raise £3,140 for the Community Foundation for Greater Manchester, the charity known as Forever Manchester.
